Anyone who loves yoga, meditation, nature, and beautiful landscapes will never forget this astounding experience. Ghorepani Poon Hill Trekking is also popularly known as Annapurna Sunrise Trekking or Annapurna Panorama Trekking.


It is one of the most popular and relatively easy treks that meander through the beautiful ethnic villages of Annapurna region. Invigorating through some rhododendron forests, Poon Hill trekking in Nepal will let you feel the Himalayan Panorama while providing you the opportunities to get close to the local Poonhill trek. It is a short and relatively easy trek into the Annapurna region. This trek is suitable for those who do not have much time to spend and people with a burning desire to observe the beauty of snow-capped mountains.


The viewpoint on Poonhill is 3210 meters, it offers the best view of mountains and sunrise. You will be staying at comfortable hotels, guest houses, and lodges during the trip. The Entire tour will be well guided by best team and efforts, as well as transportation. Moreover, a comprehensive medical kit will be there for minor health problems such as cold, fever, diarrhea, and headache.

PROGRAM ITINENARY

Day 01: Arrival(Pick up from Pokhara Bus Station/Lakeside Hotels), trip description and follow daily schedule at Atmashree.

Day 02: Following daily yoga schedule at Atmashree Yoga and trek preparation

Day 03: Drive to Hile - 2hrs 15mins, Lunch at Tikhe dhunga and Hike to Ulleri - Banthanti (2155m/7070ft) - Evening Yoga at 5pm

Hiking Distance: 3.5 km/ 2.2 miles
Estimated Hiking Time: 3-4 hours

Day 04: Trek from Banthanti to Ghorepani (2800 m/ 9186 ft) - Morning Yoga at 7am & Evening Yoga at 4pm

Hiking Distance: 9 km/ 5.6 miles
Estimated Hiking Time: 3 to 4 hours.

Day 05: Morning hike from Ghorepani to Poon Hill (3210m/10531ft) for 1 hour & Hike back to Ghorepani for breakfast & Trek to Tadapani (2610m/8563ft) for 5-6hrs. Morning Standing Yoga in Poon Hill & Evening Yoga at 5pm

Hiking Distance: 16 km/ 10 miles
Estimated Hiking Time: 6 to 7 hours.

Day 06: Trek from Tadapani to Ghandruk (2012 m/ 6600 ft) and Drive to Atmashree Yoga for 3hrs - Morning Yoga at 7am & Evening Yoga at 5pm

Hiking Distance: 9.5 km/ 6 miles
Estimated Hiking Time: 3 to 4 hours.

Day 07: Restorative Yoga at Atmashree Yoga & Ayurvedic Massage therapy afterwards.

Day 08: Restorative Yoga, Sound Healing therapy & Departure at 2pm (Drop off to Pokhara Bus Station/Lakeside Hotels)

7:30am :: Hatha Vinyasa Flow

9am :: Breakfast (Varies daily)

12pm :: Yoga Nidra (Yogic Rest)

BOOKING & CANCELLATION

•  Booking Policy :: Our course payments are pre-contracted. 30% Non-Refundable deposit is required to secure the spot. Rest of the amount can be paid on arrival.

• Cancellation Policy :: The deposit paid is Non-refundable. If cancelled, the amount paid will be kept as credit store for future booking with Atmashree Yoga.

•  If you choose to leave the trek in between, the paid amount is non-refundable. In any circumstances, the deposited fees are non-refundable unless the course is cancelled by Atmashree Yoga. The fees are also non-negotiable. 

•  Atmashree Yoga & its counterpart shall not be responsible for any change & alteration in the program due to change of mind, unavoidable circumstances such as landslide, road blockage, flood, snow, political unrest, and cancellation of flight, delay arrival, sickness or accidents.

• Any rest days taken on route are counted as trekking days and must be paid in full

• If the trek return date is delayed due to flight delays/client’s illness etc. it is the client’s responsibility to pay for the additional days upon return at the office - For individual tea house trek, if the departure date is later and/or the return date is earlier than scheduled, please note that there will not be a refund

• There will be no refund for cancellation due to sickness, weather conditions or change of mind

• Atmashree Yoga is not responsible or liable for any unforeseen situations, such as accident, theft, damage and loss of equipment and valuables, delay, excess luggage charges, bad weather, strike, and/or political disturbance.

• Weather conditions can change rapidly in the mountains; to guarantee safety clients must follow the guide's / staff's advice. If clients want to continue on with their trek despite the guide’s judgment, neither the guide nor Atmashree is responsible for the client's safety

• Please be open and talk with your guide if you have any questions, concerns, or issues. We strongly recommend that clients carry their own personal travel insurance and bring any special medicine they require with them. Ensure that your policy covers you for high-altitude trekking (up to over 5000m, depending on the trek) and also covers all hospital bills, mountain rescue costs, air ambulance costs, repatriation costs, and trip cancellations. It is your own responsibility to ensure that the insurance cover you have is adequate. We also advise clients to take appropriate care of their belongings and to be aware of their own and staff’s health.

• We strongly recommends you to join our short meditation and yoga retreat program before you take up this trekking program so that you have enough time to prepare your body, mind, and spirit to remain healthy, conscious, active, and not suffer from high altitude sickness.

•  You are earnestly requested to kindly respect your fellow students, teachers, people & nepali culture.

•  The management reserves the right to terminate/ expel any participants who do not abide by the above rules, are disruptive or abusive to the place, teachers or other participants. (which may include, by way of example, violence, excessive use of bad language, threatening behavior or inappropriate sexual activities). In the event of a participants being expelled due to a breach of the rules, no refund of fees shall be given.
